What access methods can customers use?
Offer app, QR or PIN access. Numberplate recognition can open gates for authorised vehicles. Combine methods across your site, or use phone access without physical keypads or QR Solo readers.
Which rental software does Bearbox connect with?

How does two-factor access work?
Customers must pass the checks configured for your site before entry. You can require a QR code and PIN together, or use an authenticator app for the second check.
Can customers give someone else access?
Yes, when sharing is enabled for your site. Customers invite someone with their own profile and credentials instead of sharing a code. That gives you a separate access record for each person.
Can our local electrician handle the wiring?
Yes. Your local electrician can handle the wiring. Bearbox signs off commissioning, with warranty and support in place for the signed-off system.
Can we upgrade an existing site?
Yes. Bearbox connects access control to your existing gates. Compatible readers and cabling can often be reused. A site assessment identifies the controller and equipment changes your installation needs.
What does unit monitoring show us?
Door contacts show when unit doors open. PIR sensors detect movement inside and outside units. Check these events alongside customer visits to investigate alarms, doors left open and activity beyond the gate.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Keypad and reader access can keep working with permissions already stored on site. Opening from the app needs an internet connection at the site and on the customer’s phone. Remote management also needs the site online.
